The East Branch of the DuPage River runs through the village low and brown, and the yards that back onto it green up first in spring and hold that color longest into fall. Dupage Lawn works that bottomland and the higher blocks above it: weekly mowing, trimming around fence posts and downspouts, edging the drives, pulling leaf drift out of the beds.
