Lakemoor is built around Lily Lake, and on a July morning the water throws light up under the trees while the air off it keeps everything growing faster than seems fair. Allscape Services mows through that on a weekly loop, trimming to the shoreline plantings and the fence lines, edging the drives that run down toward the water. In this chain-of-lakes country a weekend belongs to the boat and not the mower, and that is most of the reason this work exists. Spring and fall cleanups cover the rest of the calendar, opening the yard up and then clearing it down. A lawn left crisp along the walk and standing even all the way to the bank is how the place is meant to look.
