About Crowley Tree Experts, Inc. now a Siebert and Sons Co.

Lake Villa was laid down by ice — a scatter of kettle lakes, oak ridges and marsh edges where the water table sits close to the surface and the bur oaks have taken their time. Crowley Tree Experts, Inc. now a Siebert and Sons Co. works among those old oaks and the shoreline willows, taking down what has gone hollow and shaping what still has good years left in it. A removal on a tight lot near Deep Lake asks for patience and a plan; pruning along a shaded street asks for a lighter hand and a slower eye. After a summer squall rolls off the water and leaves half a maple across a driveway, storm damage cleanup means hauling the wreck out and handing the yard back before supper. The best minute of any job is the last walk around — sawdust swept, ruts smoothed, the lake light coming through a crown that finally has room to breathe.
