About Caribbean Landscape

There's a hint of the tropics in the name, but Caribbean Landscape works a landscape of another kind: the big, oak-shaded lots of Kildeer, where homes sit back from winding roads among ponds and patches of woodland. Midsummer here turns lush and sticky, and the turf under open sky thickens almost by the hour. Keeping those wide yards mowed and trimmed takes steady effort, especially where grass runs up under old oaks and around the water's edge. The aim is a lawn that looks deliberate against the wilder woods behind it, with sharp borders and no shagginess where lawn meets pavement. In Kildeer, that contrast between tended ground and natural cover is the whole charm.
