Blue Jay Lawn & Tree Service

About Blue Jay Lawn & Tree Service

Winter dusk arrives early over Windmont Park, where the ground folds down into its wooded ravine and the sledding hill turns blue in the last of the light. Blue Jay Lawn & Tree Service works both halves of the Kewanee calendar: plowing drives and clearing walks when a storm comes across the open ground, then mowing, trimming and cleaning up once the frost lets go. A driveway opened before six in the morning is a small kindness to whoever has to be somewhere by seven. Come July the same properties get the even, unhurried line of a fresh cut and a walkway swept back to the edge. One town, two very different kinds of good morning.
