Terrain Services

About Terrain Services

On the coldest January mornings the Kankakee River steams where it runs open over its rocky bed, and the mist drifts up through the old trees of the Riverview neighborhood, home to a Frank Lloyd Wright house near the water. Terrain Services is out in that hush, clearing snow from home driveways, front walks and parking areas across Kankakee. Storms barrel over the flat land around the city and pile long, hard drifts that peel away cleanly under the plow. A finished lot here looks like a fresh page, its edges squared and its entrances salted where cars will swing in. By the time the river mist burns off, Kankakee is ready to go.
