About Burrell Lawncare

The Kankakee River bends through the middle of this city, and everything green here seems to take its cue from it — the sycamores on the banks, the deep old lawns up in the Riverview blocks, the parkway grass that greens early where the limestone lies close. Burrell Lawncare works those streets with a mower, a trimmer and a good eye for a straight edge, keeping yards even from the first flush of May growth to the last leaf haul. A crisp border along a sidewalk in an old river town is a kind of respect for houses that have stood a long time. Cleanups in fall run heavy, since the maples give generously, and the result is a yard that reads as cared for from the curb. Bourbonnais, Bradley and Aroma Park are all an easy run up the river road.
