About Sherwood's Landscaping & Maintenance

Evening is the hour worth waiting for out here. The heat lets go, the western sky turns the color of a ripe peach, and a lawn cut that afternoon still holds its smell after dark. Sherwood's Landscaping & Maintenance keeps yards along the creek roads and out toward Lake Shelbyville, mowing on a set week, trimming tight around mailboxes and maples, and hauling off the leaf drift once October gets serious. On a big east-central Illinois lot, a straight set of stripes running the long way is a small thing to be proud of, and it stays visible from the road for a week. Come spring the same yards get combed clean of winter's sticks and the whole cycle opens again.
