About Skoien and Sons Landscaping and Tree Removal

Joliet is a limestone town on a working river, and its yards sit on ground that has been quarried, cut and bridged for a very long time: deep old lots up on the bluffs, tight green squares behind the brick streets downtown. Skoien and Sons Landscaping and Tree Removal mows, trims and edges across all of it, from river-side lawns to the flat newer blocks out toward the county roads. Summer here comes humid off the Des Plaines and the grass answers accordingly, so the schedule holds and the blades stay sharp. Fall means leaves, and plenty of them, off the grass and walks before the first hard rain mats them flat. A yard finished at the end of a Joliet afternoon, trimmed tight to the fence line and the drive swept clean, looks like somebody cared.
