About Reyes and Sons Landscaping & Lawn Service

Nine o'clock on a July evening in Joliet still has light left in it, fireflies rising out of the turf and the day's heat letting go by degrees. Reyes and Sons Landscaping & Lawn Service spends the hours before that in the sun — mowing, string trimming, edging along drives and walks, clearing out the leaves and clippings that would otherwise mat a lawn down. Grass here answers to humidity and thunderstorms more than to any calendar, so the route bends to what the week actually did. The payoff is a yard somebody can walk barefoot across after supper without thinking about it. That is the whole ambition, and it is a good one.
