About Midwest Ground Effects, Inc.

Dig anywhere in Joliet and you meet the limestone eventually, the pale rock the old quarries here sent up and down the country, sitting closer to the surface than most people expect. Midwest Ground Effects, Inc. works the thin soil above it, keeping lawns mowed, edged and cleaned up through a growing season that swings from cool April mud to August heat without apology. Shallow ground dries fast, so a lawn here becomes a conversation about mowing height as much as anything else. The satisfaction is in the finish: passes laid straight, the trim work tight around posts and hydrants, the drive blown clean before the truck pulls away. Ground is the word in the name for a reason.
