About Everything Under The Sun Construction

August in Joliet arrives all at once — cicadas going in the elms, heat standing on the pavement, sun overhead from ten until six. Everything Under The Sun Construction mows straight through it, cutting a little higher when the weeks run dry so the roots keep their own shade. Trimming, edging and cleanups round out the lawn work, along with the bed and border tidying that keeps a yard from looking overgrown by Labor Day. There is a moment right after the final pass when the stripes line up and the driveway is swept and the whole thing simply reads as finished. That moment is the job.
