Casba's Landscaping

About Casba's Landscaping

Few hours in Holland are as lovely as the one just after dusk on a June night, when the light lingers in the west and fireflies drift up out of the grass like slow sparks. Casba's Landscaping does lawn care and landscaping here, and its work is the stage those fireflies rise from: turf mowed even, borders held to their lines, beds tidy beneath the porch rail. A yard like that pulls people outdoors — lawn chairs dragged into a loose circle, a kid with a jar, the porch light left off a little longer. Midsummer in Illinois is humid and generous, and the grass grows as though it has somewhere to be. Casba's keeps pace with it, so the evening show always opens on a clean set.
