S & D Grassland

About S & D Grassland

Illinois is called the Prairie State, and around Hillyard you can still sense how much of this land was grass long before it was anything else. S & D Grassland carries on that green inheritance one yard at a time, with lawn care built on regular mowing, trimming and edging. June is when the grass grows hardest, thick and blue-green after the early summer rains, and keeping it level takes a sure hand. Each finished lawn becomes a small, tidy patch of that old prairie, cut low and even beneath an enormous sky. Stepping back to see a yard laid out as neat as a quilt square never stops being satisfying.
