About Personal Preference Services

September evenings on Highland's older streets are all porch light and deep shade, the trees the Swiss settlers' descendants planted now wide enough to cool a whole block. Personal Preference Services keeps the lawns beneath them looking right — mowing, trimming around the trunks and beds, edging so the sidewalk stays a sidewalk. Shaded turf grows unevenly and shows every shortcut, so this is work best done slowly and with an eye on how each yard actually behaves. The name is the method: whatever a homeowner wants held to, that is the line the job is cut to. By the time the leaves come down and the cleanups begin, the whole street has a settled, tended look.
