McGee’s Landscaping

About McGee’s Landscaping

There is a particular hour in Herrin in early June when the light goes long and gold across the City Park lagoon, and every mowed yard in town looks like it was made for exactly that light. McGee's Landscaping works toward that hour with mowing and trimming, beds edged and mulched, shrubs shaped so a house sits well on its lot. Grass in this part of Illinois comes on fast through a wet spring, then wants patience across the humid weeks that follow. The satisfaction is in standing back at the end: crisp borders, clippings cleared off the drive, a lawn reading as one unbroken piece of green. Small work done at the right time adds up to a street you like driving down.
