About Nick Klein Trucking & Excavating Inc.

Henry sits right on the bank of the Illinois River, and in deep winter the water slides dark between white shores while eagles drift along the valley looking for open channels. Nick Klein Trucking & Excavating handles snow removal in town, bringing heavy-equipment muscle to the plain job of making driveways and lots usable again. Cold in a river town carries a damp edge, so snow packs dense and slush hardens by dusk; the blade shaves it flat and salt follows before the light fails. Watching a broad lot come clear in the blue hour, with lights coming on along the river bridge, is its own quiet reward. Henry heads home on firm ground.
