About Buenavista’s Gardens Inc.
Hebron carries a basketball on its water tower, up over the rooftops where anyone coming down from the Wisconsin line can see it. Buenavista's Gardens Inc. works the winter under that skyline, plowing driveways, lots and entries so a village morning goes the way it is supposed to. Snow in this corner of McHenry County comes in on a north wind, the Nippersink running black through white fields, and it packs hard at the end of every drive. That plow ridge gets broken and pushed back, the walk gets shoveled clean to the step, and salt goes where a boot will land. It is a good feeling to leave a street where every drive stands open before the buses come through.
