About On The Green Lawn Care

Saturday morning in Harristown: driveways full, sprinklers ticking, and the flat Macon County light coming up over ground that runs east toward Decatur without a bend in it. On The Green Lawn Care is out early on the weekly rotation, mowing yards, trimming around mailbox posts and young trees, cutting the sidewalk edge back straight. Sangamon country grows grass fast in June, and staying ahead of it is the whole trick. Come fall the same lawns need their leaves off before the mats set in, and that becomes its own rhythm. A tended yard is a quiet thing to hand somebody, and it lasts all week.
