About Stand-Up Landscaping

Hanover Park runs on long straight blocks laid out where the old Ontarioville crossroads used to be, and in September those blocks fill up again with school buses, backpacks and evening lights. Stand-Up Landscaping keeps the lawns along them cut and squared away — mowing, trimming the corners a deck cannot reach, and edging so each yard has a defined line at the curb. Autumn on this stretch of the Illinois prairie brings cool nights that make the turf grow one last stubborn round, and the mowers stay out for it. Then the maples turn loose all at once and the work becomes rakes, blowers and full-property cleanups. There is something honest about handing back a lawn that looks finished rather than merely mowed.
