About Buskirk Tree Services & Landscaping

The blacktop out of Hanna City runs northwest past Jubilee's restored prairie, where in January the grass stands frost-white and the wind crosses it with nothing in the way. Buskirk Tree Services & Landscaping takes its snow work through those evenings, opening lots and driveways after the road plows have gone by and left a ridge of hard pack across every entrance. That ridge is the whole trick of it: break it out first, then cut the drive wide enough for two vehicles to pass and salt the pitch of the entrance. Dusk comes early out here, and headlights on clean pavement are their own kind of welcome home. By full dark the entrances stand open and the country goes quiet again.
