Bk Enhancements

About Bk Enhancements

In Gridley the land lies open enough that a January wind can lift a whole field of snow, carry it across a township road, and set it down again in a drift the height of a mailbox. Bk Enhancements meets that plain weather head-on, plowing driveways and lots and cutting a path down to pavement where the wind keeps trying to close it. Scrapers and salt go where the crust hardens after a night of blowing — at the apron, along the walk, in the corner a blade wants to skip. The reward is small and specific: a farmhouse lane opened in one straight line to the blacktop, tire tracks and nothing else. Come morning the corn stubble still glitters out to the section line, and the way out is already clear.
