About Hamannentinc

When a storm comes over Grant Park at night, the only lights left are the grain elevator and a yard lamp burning a mile off through the snow. Hamannentinc works in that hush, pushing back drives and parking areas, shoveling stoops and steps, and salting the ice that follows a thaw. Village blocks give way to open section roads within a quarter mile here, so a single route runs from close-set sidewalks out to long farm lanes and back again. Each stop ends the same way, with pavement showing and the banks pushed well clear of the mailbox and the door. Snow keeps its own schedule, and the work simply matches it.
