About Greene Lawn Care

Long before the steel works, this stretch of Madison County was called Six Mile Prairie, and something of that open grassland still shows in the way Granite City yards run flat and wide to the street. Greene Lawn Care keeps them that way through the growing months with mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanup on a steady route. Come winter the work flips over to snow: plowing driveways, clearing lots and salting walks after the overnight freeze. The pleasure of it is the symmetry, one property looked after in July and looked after again in January. A place tended all the way around the year never has to be rescued.
