Godfrey Stump Removal

About Godfrey Stump Removal

Late in August the bluff above the Great River Road holds the day's heat well past dark, and that is when a lawn shows every flaw it has — including the old stump nobody has gotten around to. Godfrey Stump Removal handles the whole arc: the tree taken down, the wood cleared off, then the grinder easing the stump under until there is nothing left but shavings and level ground. Tree trimming keeps the rest of the place off the eaves and back from the porch roof. There is a plain pleasure in a yard where the mower finally runs corner to corner without dodging anything. The work runs from Godfrey up the river road toward Elsah and Grafton, and back through Alton and Bethalto.
