About Castillo & Sons Landscaping
The soil around Genoa is that deep black prairie ground that grows anything you point at it, and by mid-July the corn along Route 72 stands taller than a truck cab. Lawns take the same hint, which is why Castillo & Sons Landscaping keeps a firm rotation: mowing before the growth gets ahead of itself, trimming into every corner, edging the walks and drives so the lines stay honest. Spring and fall cleanups bracket the season, clearing out what the wind and the trees leave behind. The Kishwaukee runs cool and shaded just north of town, and mornings out that way are the best hours to work. A yard finished clean in DeKalb County farm country reads like a small, tidy answer to a very large landscape.
