Mcbrides Tree Service

About Mcbrides Tree Service

Six in the morning in July: the corn east of Geneseo is still wet to the knee and the towpath along the Hennepin Canal smells like standing water and cut grass. Mcbrides Tree Service is loaded and rolling by then, because out here the honest hours are the early ones. Removals, trimming and pruning fill the long summer; the fall wind fills whatever is left over. Storm damage cleanup on the section roads has its own rhythm — a hackberry down across a lane, the saw, then working the shoulder back until it looks like a shoulder again. Anywhere between Annawan, Atkinson, Geneseo and Hillsdale, it is the same day and the same standard.
