About MARKS LAWN CARE AND SMALL ENGINE REPAIR

The north-side blocks of Galesburg are laid out plain and close — narrow drives, alleys running behind, yards that measure more in corners than in acreage. Small ground is fussy ground, and MARKS LAWN CARE AND SMALL ENGINE REPAIR handles it the way it has to be handled: mowed clean, trimmed tight to posts and steps, edged where the grass wants to creep over the walk. In July that means coming back on schedule, because a week of prairie rain will erase the last visit entirely. When the leaves come down, the cleanup takes the yard back to a flat, quiet rectangle waiting out the cold. A small lawn done properly reads sharper than a big one done fast, and on these streets that difference shows.
