About G&V Lawn Care

Freight moves through Galesburg at every hour of the night, and long after the last horn has gone off toward the east the yards near Losey Street sit quiet and heavy with dew. That is the hour G&V Lawn Care likes best — cool air, soft ground, a clean stripe laid down before the day gets loud. Mowing week after week, string trimming into the corners a mower can't reach, edging along walks and drives, and the seasonal cleanups that take a yard from leaf-buried back to bare and breathing. Grass in a prairie town answers fast to rain, and keeping pace with it is most of the job. There is nothing complicated about a straight edge along a Galesburg sidewalk; it simply looks right, and it is meant to.
