About Cutting For College

Late in a Galesburg afternoon the heat comes up off the pavement in sheets, and somewhere back in the neighborhoods a mower is still going. Cutting For College does lawn care the plain way — cut it even, edge it sharp, trim what the deck misses, clear the drive and the walk before pulling out. Grass adds an inch between visits in high summer, which keeps the schedule non-negotiable. The best part is the last pass, when the stripes line up and the curb reads like a drawn line. Galesburg yards, and the streets running out around them.
