Mr. And Mrs. Landscape & Lawncare

About Mr. And Mrs. Landscape & Lawncare

On Galesburg's older streets the houses wear deep front porches, and the yards were planted long before anyone thought about mowing them quickly. Mr. And Mrs. Landscape & Lawncare takes a yard like that as it is, mowing, trimming, edging, and tidying the beds along the foundation until the shape of the place comes back. Spring is the favorite stretch here: dead stems out, matted leaves lifted, the first cut low, and suddenly the whole lot looks awake again. Two sets of hands make short work of it, and one of them is always the one who notices the corner the mower cannot reach. Come November the same care runs in reverse, putting the yard down neatly for winter.
