About Lawrence Landscapes

A few blocks from Old Main, October tends to come down on Galesburg all at once: one cold night, one steady wind, and the lawns vanish under red and gold. Lawrence Landscapes meets that stretch head-on with leaf and yard cleanups, clearing turf back to open green before the first hard freeze locks everything in place. The rest of the year is mowing, trimming and edging, keeping the lines honest along walks, drives and fence rows across town. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of the season, when the blower and rake have taken a yard down to bare, breathing grass. It is lawn care measured by what the ground looks like after the truck pulls away.
