Hensley Lawn Care

About Hensley Lawn Care

By late June the light in Galesburg hangs on until nearly nine, and the old bandstand in Standish Park throws a long shadow across grass that has been cut and cut again. Hensley Lawn Care works those long evenings and the cooler mornings on either side of them, mowing, trimming and edging yards on streets where the maples meet overhead. Prairie rain arrives fast and generous, so growth here is not gentle; a lawn kept on schedule looks calm, and a lawn left to itself does not. Come autumn the same route turns to cleanups, hauling off whatever the wind has piled against the fences and porch skirts. Ordinary work, plainly done, and the whole block reads better for it.
