Lawn'n'Order

About Lawn'n'Order

Fulton sits up against the Mississippi with a windmill on the levee and a lot of sky above it, and by mid-July the river throws heat back at the town all afternoon. Lawn'n'Order mows in that heat, cutting high enough to keep the color through a dry stretch, trimming clean around foundation and fence, edging the walks so every yard has a defined border. River-bottom soil grows grass fast when it rains and tests it hard when it does not, which makes a steady weekly cut worth more here than anywhere. There is a plain, real pride in pulling away from a property that looks finished. Down the block, the levee grass leans in the wind, and the town looks like itself.
