About Dave De Meester Landscaping

The ravine at Krape Park keeps its oaks all winter, and the way January light comes down through those bare limbs is reason enough to live in Freeport. Dave De Meester Landscaping works the lawns and landscapes around town, with mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups and landscape work through the warm season, then snow plowing, walk clearing and salting when the storms come in off the plains. Shaping ground is slow business; you set something into this soil and then wait a couple of seasons to learn whether you got it right. When a planting finally takes hold it looks as though it had always been there, which is the whole ambition. And in February the same hands are out before dawn making a driveway passable again.
