About Whitten Landscaping LLC

The first hard freeze usually arrives on a north wind that crosses the open ground west of the village with nothing at all to slow it down. Whitten Landscaping LLC watches for that wind, and for whatever follows it — plowing drives and parking areas, shoveling steps, spreading salt where ice likes to set up in the shade of a house. In the green months the work is mowing and trimming, keeping properties even through the long humid stretch when growth never quite quits. There is real pride in a driveway cleared at four in the morning that nobody has to think about at seven. Freeburg swings hard between the two halves of its year, and both halves get covered.
