About From the Ground Up Landscaping & Lawncare

Beneath Frankfort's subdivisions and ballfields lies some of the blackest ground in Illinois, prairie soil that has been growing things for ten thousand years. From the Ground Up Landscaping & Lawncare starts there — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch worked into the beds, and cleanups that give that dirt a fresh start twice a year. Come December the crews trade blades for plows, opening driveways and walks and putting salt down where ice wants to form. Winter arrives here on a northeast wind and does not ask permission, and a drive cleared before dawn changes a whole household's morning. Both halves of the year come down to the same thing: ground you can cross without a second thought.
