About Tryon Grading, LLC

At four in the morning in January, the road along the river runs with nobody on it, and the Grafton bluffs stand black against a sky full of snow. Tryon Grading, LLC works those hours, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and spreading salt where the shade keeps ice honest, so the town can go about an ordinary day. Snow here arrives with river wind behind it and drifts against anything that stands up. The measure of a night's work is a bare stretch of blacktop and a homeowner who never has to think about it. By sunrise the pavement is dark and wet, and the plow is already headed for the next one.
