Russel's mowing and services

About Russel's mowing and services

Fort Russell Township spreads over the high ground above the American Bottom, close enough to the Mississippi bluffs that summer evenings come in soft and heavy with river air. Russel's mowing and services keeps yards mowed through that long humid stretch, when a week of rain and heat can put a lawn ankle-deep in a hurry. Trimming and edging pull the shape back — a tidy band along the walk, a firm border where the grass stops and the drive begins. Spring rounds clear what winter dropped; autumn rounds chase the leaves down off the oaks. Between Bethalto and Moro the yards run big and the results show from the road, which is the pleasure of the work.
