About Turner Boys LLC

A ground blizzard on the open Ogle County sections is its own kind of storm, clear sky, sun even, and snow moving sideways across the road like smoke. Turner Boys LLC works those days and the nights on either side of them, pushing drives open, cutting the banks back so the next drift has somewhere to land, and salting walks and aprons. Farm lanes, town driveways, the long approach to a shed, the job changes shape at every address. Getting somebody out to the highway before a shift starts is the whole purpose, and it is a good feeling to see the tracks of a car that made it. When the wind finally lies down, the township looks scraped bare and the plow can park.
