About Ray's Mowing & Back-Hoe Services

South of Fairfield the Skillet Fork bottoms take the spring rain and hang onto it, and every landowner around here has an opinion about where the water ought to go. Ray's Mowing & Back-Hoe Services works both sides of that question, a backhoe for the ditching, grading and digging that fixes a soggy yard, and a mower deck for everything afterward. There is a plain kind of pride in regrading a low corner and then watching the next storm drain instead of pool. Through the season it is acreage mowing and roadside edges, brush knocked back, lots cleared where the weeds have taken over. Wayne County ground gives you mud in March and hay-colored heat by August, and the work simply changes shape to match.
