About PDK Tree & Lawn Services

The wind off the Livingston County prairie has nothing to slow it but the windbreak trees, and those trees are why half of Fairbury's yards stay livable in August. PDK Tree & Lawn Services works both ends of that bargain, thinning and pruning the shelterbelts and yard maples, then mowing the ground they shade. Along Indian Creek the soil holds water and the grass comes on thick, so cuts get timed to the rain instead of the calendar. After a storm there is limb work: cut, drag, chip and rake until the lawn shows no sign anything ever fell on it. A pruned tree and a short lawn belong to the same idea, nothing overgrown and nothing standing in the light.
