About Veteran Landscapes LLC

Downtown keeps two green rooms: Raymond Park under its old trees, and the rose beds at Merrick just to the north — both held to a standard the surrounding blocks tend to notice. Veteran Landscapes LLC works toward that kind of finish on private property. Mowing comes on a weekly turn, with trimming close to fences, posts and foundations, and edging along every walk and drive so the turf ends in a line instead of a fray. Spring cleanups pull out what winter pressed flat; fall cleanups keep the leaves from smothering the grass before the ground closes. Midsummer is when the discipline shows, because that is the stretch when a lawn either holds its shape or quietly stops.
