Lynch's Lawn Care

About Lynch's Lawn Care

Some June mornings the fog comes in off the water and settles over the east-side streets until nine, and Greenwood Street goes soft and quiet, the grass beaded and heavy underfoot. Lynch's Lawn Care waits that out, then cuts while the day is still cool. Wet turf teaches patience; dry turf rewards a straight line, and both lessons get used most weeks. On top of the mowing, trimming and edging there are the cleanups that bracket the year — beds cleared in April, and again once the trees have finished dropping. A finished yard on a block like that looks as though it belongs to the house rather than to a schedule.
