Herrera Landscape & Snow Removal

About Herrera Landscape & Snow Removal

Snow off the water reaches this town without much warning — a gray afternoon, then four inches down by the time the streetlights come on. Herrera Landscape & Snow Removal works the small hours after that, when Asbury Avenue is one long unbroken white and the only sound is a blade scraping two blocks away. Driveways get cut open, walks and porch steps shoveled down to the surface, salt spread where meltwater will set up again before dawn. The measure of a night like that is simple: whether a car can back out at seven without a shovel in the trunk. By the time the block wakes up, the work looks as though it was never needed at all.
