July on the south side of town is a flat, bright, humid business — James Park glaring, the ball diamonds baked hard, the air refusing to move until evening. The grass grows anyway, faster than anyone wants it to. BrianGMLawnCare holds the schedule through all of it: weekly mowing, trimming around fence posts and hydrants, edging the walks so the turf ends where it is supposed to end. Clippings get blown off the drive and swept back onto the lawn before the truck rolls to the next stop. By the time the heat lets go of Oakton Street, the yards along it look like someone came through and left nothing behind but the shape of the work.
