The first warm week at Empire turns the fields to mud and every yard in the township into something that needs cutting all at once. Prude Lawn Services meets that first flush with a spring cleanup — winter's litter raked out, matted grass lifted, borders re-cut — and then settles into a weekly mow that runs to frost. Trimming and edging finish what the deck cannot reach: along the porch, around the mailbox, down the line of the drive. Prairie yards get full sun and full wind, so they dry fast and want a taller cut in the heat of the year. Every visit ends the same way, with the lawn looking like somebody decided how it ought to be.
