About GFL Environmental

Out where Elmwood's last block gives way to open ground, the evening light comes in low and long across the section roads. GFL Environmental takes care of the grass on that edge of things — weekly mowing, trimming around posts and mailboxes and fence lines, cleanups once spring finally lets go of the mud. Central Illinois grass grows fast in May and asks for patience in August, and the schedule is built to match it rather than fight it. Fall means leaves hauled off before the first hard frost presses them into the ground. It is plain work, done on time, and a neat yard on a quiet street is the whole point of it.
