About Davis Landscape Service

Elmwood gathers around a small park where bronze pioneers stand under old shade, and the streets run out from there into corn that goes on for miles. Davis Landscape Service works those yards in the ordinary hours — the mid-morning mow, the trimmer along a foundation, the walk blown clean so nobody tracks clippings inside. Summer heat stacks up over the fields by noon, so the cutting gets done while the grass still holds a little of the night in it. Autumn turns the whole town the color of the maples on the side streets, and the leaves come off in one determined week. What gets left behind, yard after yard, is a lawn with a clear line at the sidewalk and nothing out of place.
