About Certified VIP Landscaping

Three in the morning on Grand Avenue, and the trucks are already moving. Certified VIP Landscaping works the tight geometry of Elmwood Park — bungalow drives, gangways, alleys, the apron cuts where the village meets Harlem — clearing snow before the first commuters walk down to the Metra platform. Lake-driven storms land heavy and wet here, the kind that loads a shovel, so salt goes onto the walks and front steps a neighbor will cross in dress shoes. There is satisfaction in a block that wakes up already passable, in the straight run of cleared sidewalk going past every porch. By the time headlights thin out on Grand, the route is finished and the street is quiet again.
